Tuesday 3rd December - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – sunny start then cloudy and chilly.

I am having difficulty walking again as plantor fasciitis returns making my heel sore but I still decided despite being chilly to drive down to Felixstowe Ferry to catch the sunrise parking by the cottages at the end of the golf course around 7.15. It wasn’t the best of sunrises but still nice to be by the River Deben with a hint of red with some darker clouds approaching. I walked up to the derelict Martello tower in the middle of the golf course and spotted another photographer out on the shingle bar. I managed a few pics as a fishing boat headed out and reflections in the fresh puddles, looked like we had a bit of rain in the night before driving to the slippery jetty where I slowly walked to the end as the sun made an appearance. Back to the Ferry Martello as I was treated to a brief spell of golden light and was lucky enough to get one of these shoots on ITV’s About Anglia:) Back home for breakfast, sort out my pics, exercises before heading to Lidl for a big shop. A quick lunch before walking around for our Tuesday visit to see Mary after which we headed over to the triangle to see the Christmas lights and home to light the fire and make a hot water bottle for my aching back, we are both cracking up at the moment:(
